Men and women don’t sleep on the same way

If you have problems sleeping with your partner, it is because men and women sleep differently. The study, by the team behind Sleep cycle, a sleep analyzing app, gathered results of 941.300 people from 50 countries. They wanted to determine are sleeping habits different and in what way. Some of the results only confirmed common presumptions, like sleeping habits during the week, but other are very different.
According to the study, women in the US, sleep more than man, during the whole week. On Friday night, they sleep 25 minutes longer. This is the biggest difference. The result isn’t linked to their mood, when they wake up. Researchers found that men are happier than women when they wake up. This includes all tested countries except: Ukraine, Columbia and Portugal. Men are happiest on Sunday morning. But, in the US, men are happier on Saturday morning. Also, women across the world are happier on Saturday morning.
An interesting fact that some regions in the world are known for bad mood in the morning. Men and women from Japan, Singapore and South Korea are unhappy in the morning. Men from Japan sleep 6 hours during the week, except on Saturday. They sleep the least of all. On the other side, men and women from Netherland and Finland sleep longer on Saturday night
Beside the time you spend sleeping, quality of sleep is important. Men and women from the United States have the worst sleep quality. Women from China don’t sleep longer, but their sleep quality is the best. Other countries where people have a good sleep quality are: Poland, Taiwan and Czech Republic.
