Facebook To Turn Into Shopper’s Paradise Soon With Some Apps Joining The Rat-Race
Facebook plans to introduce a novelty in its social networking platform. It has been in touch with some online retailers like Zulily and Everlane. Shoppers can communicate with retailers directly. There does not need to be a middle-man. Facebook is contemplating on developing its messenger services in such a manner that would enable shoppers to interact directly with retailers.
Facebook messenger is to be the medium through which consumers are supposed to place orders with retailers. There would be a direct interaction. Consumers are to have a facility of altering features of their orders like the color of a shirt or brand of shoes ordered. They would be notified directly whenever the order is dispatched.
The entire buying could be completed by sending messages. But the online store should have details of the consumer like his or her address.
With more than 1.4-billion people using the social networking platform, it offers huge potential for marketing. Facebook intends to transform its mobile messaging service to a comprehensive program. The mobile messaging service attracts the attention of at least 600 million people around the world.
The novelty was declared at the annual conference of Facebook in San Francisco. There are now applications that figure inside the messenger service. There are to be about 40 different apps within Facebook messenger in the coming days.
These apps would allow users to send all kinds of messages, sports clips, animation clips, and a lot more. For the avid fans, there is to be ESPN and there is also to be a comprehensive description of the weather using The Weather Channel.
